RAW is a not-for-profit community service organisation that is focused on suicide prevention and intervention and building mental health and well-being in rural Tasmania. Located in Melton Mowbray, RAW Outreach Support Workers cover the southern midlands, highlands and east coast.

RAW is community owned and governed and is built on community development principles. It is an innovative program that is reaching hundreds of Tasmanians in rural communities and attracting national interest.

RDS is reviewing the organisation and working with RAW to develop a business plan for its medium term future.

RDS is combining desk top review with interview and input from stakeholders to deliver this project by October 2010.

Community input and feedback is highly valued by both RAW and RDS. Accordingly, RDS has created the following survey as an opportunity for people in the communities that RAW serves to contribute.
