shellfish futures is the annual Tasmanian oyster industry conference of the Tasmanian Shellfish Executive Council and the Tasmanian Oyster Research Council.

Rural Development Services has organised the shellfish futures since 2007, including programming, event coordination and has also been a sponsor of the event. Since 2009, Rural Development Services has had a dual role though being the conference organiser as well as the provider of executive services through Oysters Tasmania.

shellfish futures 2010 is built around the theme of "The Business of Oysters" and we'll be hearing from a great range of speakers regarding what it means to be in the oyster business.
